Getting "THAT" photo of your kids

Everyone wants THAT photo of their kids.  You know, the one where they are all looking at the camera and smiling that sweet, angelic smile?  I won't lie - I'm not excluded from that group!  I love to have "that" shot, especially when I bring them to styled sessions, or take the time to actually coordinate outfits.

But you know what?  The largest photo that's hung in my home?  Neither kid is looking at the camera.  They are looking at each other, working together, playing together.  They are being themselves, and I got the opportunity to "sneak" a moment in time of that love between them.  That moment will never happen again.  They will never be that small again.  And it's okay that they aren't looking.

(Might I add, this photo ^ is a 20x30 canvas...  Not small!)

When you look back at their 3rd birthday session...  Their Easter 2015 session...  Their Christmas 2017 session...  Or even that newborn session when all they wanted to do was be AWAKE when we wanted them asleep...  I would LOVE to help you find the joy in seeing how they were in that moment in time.  Because, let's face it - time is fleeting.  And as the little ones grow bigger, they change.  They change daily, monthly, and (in leaps and bounds!) yearly.

It is my goal to get THAT shot for you.  We all want it!  Myself included.  In fact, I try to include many of them in your gallery to choose from.  But when you look back...  If I can capture the funny smile they have been making all month, or the funny dance they do when they are excited, or even the "I'm so over this" photo...  Then I feel satisfied with my part of the session.

Even more importantly, if I can help YOU to see the beauty in those silly smiles, those goofy looks... Then I feel as if my job is truly done.

"There is only one world, the world pressing against you at this minute.  There is only one minute in which you are alive, this minute here and now.  The only way to live is by accepting each minute as an unrepeatable miracle."
